Just My Luck is a romantic comedy film starring Lindsay Lohan and Chris Pine, and written by Jason Schwaede, released in the US on May 12, 2006. Lohan has described the film as "a little bit of an over-the-top comedy, but it's funny and it's cute and it's silly." [1] It is rated PG-13 in the US, and PG in the UK and Australia.
Lohan plays an ultra lucky Manhattan girl, Ashley. When asked about her character, Lohan said "She takes advantage of the fact that she has luck, and she does not recognize it and is not thankful, [then] everything just basically goes downhill for her."
Chris Pine plays the role of Jake, a music manager in the film, overseeing the pop-band McFly (Danny Jones, Tom Fletcher, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd), played by themselves. The band played two live concerts, which were filmed for use in the movie. McFly also has dialog. The film is suspiciously similar to an episode of The Twilight Zone.
